- Search for chats
If you find difficulties in finding any message from the chat that you have shared or the person has shared with you. You can directly use the search icon(🔍) on the right-hand side corner of the home page. On tapping on it you can search for the contact easily get the required information.
2. Search for the right text in specialized chat
You can furthermore want that right message you can search for the message by joining the specialized person chat then on the three dots on the right-hand side then on the third option that's your search. From here you can peculiarly find for the right message, word with the feature you have used that word, message how many times.
3. Image and video sharing
WhatsApp also allows you to share pictures and videos with the contacts you want with simple clicks. You have to go to the chat of the person you want to share images or videos with on the upper right-hand side of the typing section of the keyboard. You will find a camera icon from here you can click the image and share it by tapping on the green triangle-like message sending option.
An alternative method, you may also send the image and video by tapping on the pin-like option on the upper right-hand side of the keyboard message writing section. Here you will find many options but you have to click on the gallery icon from where you can share any pictures and videos with a maximum limit of 30 at a time.
4. Locations sharing
WhatsApp doesn't only allow sharing image and video sharing it also allows you to share your live location. This will help you a lot to find homes of your relatives and friends if you are visiting them the first time or meeting any person anywhere. Or tracing your girlfriend, boyfriend, daughter, son and keeping an eye on them where they go and what they do. It allows sharing for 15 minutes, 1 hour and lasts up to 8 hours.
5. Audio sharing and payment
WhatsApp also allows audio sharing and payment methods. You can get these options in the same pin-like icon.
6. WhatsApp on other devices
You can use WhatsApp on your PCs or laptops by joining the WhatsApp beta version. You can easily get the web version by clicking on the three-dot option on the right-hand side of the home page. On clicking the third option you can join the web version. It allows you to log in to the same account at a time on 4 additional devices and 1 phone.
7. Starred messages
If you are getting any message from anyone then you can star them for further reading by just clicking on the message and tapping on the star icon. Further, you can find the starred messages on the home page in three dotted options with the bar starred messages

8. Delete chat
You can delete any chat you want or all the chats. By long-tapping any chat then selecting all if you want then a small bin-like icon will be displayed on the upper side of the bar clicking on it you are done. By leaving saved the shared media and audios on your phone. And if you want to clear them too just tap tick on the asked option after touching the bin icon.
9. Delete a specific message
You can delete any message you want for me. By long-tapping on the message of the particular chat of the person, then on the bin-like icon.
10. New broadcast/chat or new groups
You can create a new chat or new group by tapping on the Box-like green icon on the home page by choosing the contact and giving the desired name to the group and you are done with the simple clicks.
11. Wallpaper
WhatsApp provides you to apply wallpaper to the chats in different themes both in light and dark themes on the right-hand side of the chat section of anyone. You will get a wallpaper option by clicking the three dots. From here you can apply any wallpaper you want a solid, light theme, a dark black theme, or the desired wallpaper from your gallery both in e every chat or in that particular chat.
12. Pin chats
If you love to text someone or are more connected to someone and their message is always on the top of your chatbox. Just a long tap on their chat and tap on the pin icon. This feature provides the selected chat always on the top of your chat section.
13. Mute chats
Moving further from the top chats, if you feel too distracted from any chat or group. Don't worry just long tap on the selected chat and mute them for the time of period you want.
14. Make your voice call and video call
WhatsApp allows you to make a call to the person too. Using your mobile network or wifi. Tapping on the person's chat you want and then tapping on the phone-like icon on the upper green bar. It also allows you to make a group call as well in the same manner by tapping on the group chat.
15. Voice message
It also allows you to send a voice message if you are feeling difficulty in writing a message. You can simply chat with the person you want in voice messages too by tapping on the mic-like icon in the chatbox. It also allows to speed up the voice message in 1.5×,2×.
16. Data control
You can control your data allowance, you can customize when the media is allowed to download, as well as ensure calls use as little data as much possible. More worried about data, you can also check the data limit you have reached by going to the setting then on the data and storage and the network usage and can get a breakdown of a total number of pictures and videos shared or received.

You can also share a pic with many contacts by uploading it to your status.
Privacy settings and useful tips
18. Profile picture
If you are too much worried about your privacy then you can set your profile to many settings to the person you want to show or not by the options nobody, only my contacts, and everyone.
19. Disappearing message
It is the newly added feature in WhatsApp if you want to delete any message after a certain period of time. You can use the disappearing message setting in the chatbox of the person touching on the profile and then allow the disappearing message. It allows automatic deleting of messages after 7 days.
20. Archive chat
Wanna hide any message? You can simply archive the chat by long-tapping on them then clicking on the arrow-like icon that goes down to a box. You can archive the selected chat. Without any data loss.
21. One-time view
The most updated setting of WhatsApp. It allows only a one-time view of the image or the video you have sent. Just by clicking on the view once at the time of sending.
22. Deleting for all
It also allows you to delete the specific message sent by mistake to anyone or if you change your mood after sending it. You can delete that message from them also by long-tapping on the message and then the bin icon by clicking the 'Delete from all' option. It allows you to delete the message for 15 minutes after sending it as well till the message has been sent.
23. Backup chats
Much protective!!! Don't wanna lose your messages then you can keep a backup of the chats. From the setting option then on the chat then simply on the backup option.
24. Read recipient
If you don't want to show that you have already seen the message you can off your read recipient. From the setting to the accounts then privacy then off your read recipient. Now anyone can't see whether you read or not.
25. Feeling Ignored
The most irritating moment is when you see someone ignoring you. You can know when he/ she is ignoring you by clicking on the last message you have sent then on the 'i' icon it shows you when the message has been delivered ( double tick) and when he/she read ( double blue tick).
26. Media visibility
If you don't want that the media and audios received will display in your gallery or saved in the file manager. You can simply off your media visibility. With the setting option then chats then off your media visibility.
